The initiative, which comes under the campaign of department PRARAMBH 2026, has the motive to make tax filing simpler, faster, and more accessible for millions of taxpayers under the new Income Tax Act, 2025 framework.
The updated platform promises to be the only destination for all direct tax-related services and information.

The operations of Kar Saathi are more than just a general-purpose AI chatbot like ChatGPT and Gemini, as it is developed to be an intelligent 24×7 virtual assistant made to reply to taxpayers’ queries in real time. It supports users with-
